Lift Trucks Don't Have Accidents
For the most part lift truck accidents aren't caused by the lift trucks themselves. They are caused by people and our behaviours. What we do or don't do when working with or around lift trucks.
Using real-life security camera footage and interviews with lift truck operators this programme presents a powerful reminder of the potential dangers of working in lift truck areas.
The core of the film asks people working with lift trucks to identify and act upon both unsafe acts and conditions. By replacing these unsafe acts with key positive safe behaviours we can all adopt as part of our daily routine when working with lift trucks it is possible to dramatically reduce the odds of such incidents occurring.

Positive Moves
Preventing slips, trips and falls at work Slips, trips and falls cost industry over £300 million per year in lost production. And they are still happening even in the safest organisations despite their best efforts to reduce the problems through focusing on the work environment.
This inspired us to make Positive Moves. It approaches the problem of slips, trips and falls from a human perspective focusing on the positive behaviours we all can adopt as part of our every day routine to improve our safety while moving around the workplace. As you will see, the film includes three people with vivid memories of how their own lives were greatly affected by a slip, trip or fall.
The core of the film asks people to use their hands, feet, eyes and head to stay safe by identifying and acting on both unsafe acts and conditions. By replacing these unsafe acts with positive safe behaviours it is possible to dramatically reduce the odds of such incidents occurring.

The Last Line of Defence
Wearing personal protective equipment Most workers will tell you how important Personal Protective Equipment is. We all understand how the right PPE can protect life and limb. But there's a big difference between understanding something and actually doing it correctly, day in, day out.
The fact is that thousands of people are still injured every year because they weren't wearing the correct PPE, or weren't wearing it properly. Clearly there's a gap between PPE awareness and action.
This film is designed to close this gap: to drive home the critical importance of PPE and to deepen every worker's appreciation of their responsibility to contribute to an effective PPE policy.
Not just another list of reasons why your trainees should wear their PPE, The Last Line of Defence identifies the obstacles to wearing it and the warning signs of when a PPE problem may occur. Only by understanding the reasons we sometimes don't wear PPE (even when we know it makes sense) can we increase the probability of wearing it.
